About Our Homestead
đ Our Story
Built from necessity. Run with heart.
Granny Creek Homestead came to life during one of the hardest chapters of our lives. I was retiring from 20 years in the Infantry, and our oldest daughter was battling T-cell leukemia. While she was going through radiation, her skin couldnât tolerate most soapsâand I needed something to do with my hands.
So we made our first batch of goat milk soap using fresh milk from our Nigerian Dwarf and Nubian goats. That small act of care became something bigger.
Today, we raise animals, grow food, and craft every bar, bottle, and board by handâright here on our land in Westville, South Carolina. What started as survival turned into purpose.
đż Our Mission
Do good work. Feed people well. Stay rooted.
We believe in keeping things honest and useful. Our products are made in small batches, using what we grow and raise ourselves. From goat milk soap and lotion to handcrafted wooden kitchen goods and pasture-raised pork, everything we sell reflects the values we live by:
-
Farm-first ingredients
-
Veteran-owned values
-
Sustainable, slow-made products
-
Kindness to animals, people, and the land
Weâre proud to be Certified SC Grown, Homegrown by Heroes, and part of the Farmer Veteran Coalition. Whether youâre here to grab a bar of soap, bottle-feed baby goats, or learn something newâwelcome to Granny Creek. Youâre always invited.
